
Samantha Campher
Samantha Campher is a Registered Counsellor. She is also a mom of two children.
She obtained her BPsych Equivalent Honours at the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) in 2018. Her experience includes working at the Johannesburg Parent and Child Counselling Centre, working in schools as well as offering counselling services to individuals prior to starting in private practice.
Samantha Campher offers services such as Individual counselling and counselling through play and group counselling. She helps children, adolescents and adults work through any difficult challenges that they may be facing, such as parent’s separation or divorce, abuse, bullying, peer pressure and general feelings of being misunderstood, as well as struggling to make subject choices, conflict at home and more serious mental health issues like depression, anxiety and trauma.
She offers learner and teacher workshops focused on understanding psychosocial issues that South African schools are faced with. Samantha also offers Psychometric Assessments for School Readiness, Subject Choice and Career Choice.
Mrs Campher approaches her clients with empathy, compassion, and optimism. The framework from which she works is Person-Cantered as well as Solution-Focused Paradigms. She is, therefore, able to concentrate on finding solutions in the present time and exploring her client’s hope for the future.
She aims to help guide her clients to a path that they would like to be on, by working with their needs and adapting to their framework. Samantha believes that each person is unique and are the experts on their own lives.
